Your Skate Bag

What's in your skate bag?

  • You can carry your skates in whatever bag works for you.
  • When you get home, open your bag and take everything out. Let it dry.
  • Then you can put the soft blade covers on your skates and put everything back in your bag.
  • Never store your skate bag in a car.
  • There should be a luggage tag with your contact information securely attached to your skate bag.

  • Find a reputable person to sharpen your skates.
  • 1/2" hollow is standard.
  • Get your skates sharpened after approximately 60 hours of skating.
  • After every sharpening, check the screws. Do not over-tighten the screws!
  • Never store your skates with the hard guards on the blades. This can cause the blades to rust.
